ALT ÀNEU ROUTE_______________

ALÒS: Church of Sant Lliser. Romanesque origin, subsequently modified (18 th c). Remarkable elements: two compartmented fonts . A Romanesque font with geometrical decoration is still preserved.
12 th -13 th -century n ecropolis. At present, the only grave which can be visited is the one initially discovered, excavated into the rock. Single-span Romanesque bridge, located by the road.
ISIL : Romanesque church. Built in the 12 th century, probably on the site of a Benedictine monastery, is now considered as a National Treasure of Cultural Interest. Parish church of the Immaculada, located on the island formed by the branches of River Noguera Pallaresa as it crosses the village. Baroque-style, dating from 1771. It contains a Romanesque font, among other elements.
BORÉN : Church of Sant Martí. Romanesque origin, conserving the doorway with archivolts and the original belfry. Modified in the 18 th century with a square bell tower, octagonal at the top, and a pyramidal roof. Single-span Romanesque bridge on the path to Àrreu.
ÀRREU : Church of Sant Serni, Romanesque. Hermitage of the Mare de Déu de les Neus: 0.50h from Borén, Romanesque building. 12 th -century rural architectural group. Romanesque wood carving of Mare de Déu de les Neus (in Borén): dating from the 13 th century, restored in 1991-1992.
